About Charity Russell
Charity Russell, RN, BSN, MSN, EdD is an accomplished healthcare leader with 25+ years of nursing excellence, combining advanced clinical expertise with educational leadership. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse providing outpatient mental health care, she previously spent 15+ years specializing in behavioral health crisis management.
With advanced credentials including a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Master's in Nursing Administration, and extensive teaching experience at prestigious institutions like Trinity College and Washington Adventist Hospital, Charity brings exceptional knowledge to healthcare delivery. Her leadership roles as Nurse Manager and Staff Development Coordinator demonstrate her ability to implement quality improvement initiatives and develop comprehensive training programs.
Expert in suicide risk assessment, de-escalation techniques, and therapeutic communication, Charity has developed nurse-led psychoeducational groups and interdisciplinary treatment coordination. Her diverse experience spans hospitals, nursing centers, rehabilitation facilities, and correctional healthcare, giving her comprehensive understanding of patient care across multiple settings.
As a Train-the-Trainer certified professional with expertise in Electronic Health Record systems and documentation, Charity combines clinical excellence with educational innovation. Her proven ability to handle psychiatric emergencies and behavioral health crises, coupled with her commitment to mentoring new nurses and staff development, makes her exceptionally qualified to lead G.H. Healthcare Services with compassion, expertise, and dedication to quality care.
